The Leitrim Hawks U15 Rep B team captured the U15-14U (2011) B Tier 1 championship at the Forest Final International Silver Stick Tournament in Forest, Ontario ON January 11th.

After qualifying at the regional tournament in Pembroke, the team had a month of preparation and started out strong, shutting out the Howard Huskies 6-0 in their first game, then edging out the Lambton Shores Predators 3-2 later that night.

The Hawks enjoyed their second shutout performance on the second day, winning 4-0 over the South Huron Sabres, but fell to the Elmvale Coyotes 3-2 in the second game that day. Their 3-1 record was enough to give them a bye to the championship game, where they met HEO rivals the Nepean Raiders and enjoyed a convincing 4-1 victory.
