Team Volunteers
Treasurer | 1 person | Responsible for keeping the team budget, opening the team account, collecting player fees, and managing and tracking the team’s finances throughout the year. |
Jersey Managers | 2 families | Responsible for home or away jerseys: keeping track of the jerseys; machine washing / hanging to dry regularly; both sets need to be brought to every game. |
Team Apparel | 1 person | Orders name bars, home and away socks and sponsor bars as needed. |
Game Day Coordinator | 1 or 2 people | Coordinates volunteers that will keep the score (game sheets) and the time (operate game clock) for all home games. |
Tournament Coordinator | 1 or 2 people | Responsible for out of town accommodations and meal planning while away (pot-luck meals and/or restaurant reservations) |
Water Bottles | 1 Person | Brings clean water bottles and fills them up with fresh water for all games and tournaments. |
Fundraising Coordinator | 1 Person | Coordinates any additional fundraising initiatives undertaken by the team. |
Website Coordinator | 1 Person | Creates and keeps the team web site updated and keeping game statistics if requested by the Coach. The LMHA can provide a website for teams. There are also free websites available through organizations such as League Line-Up, or Team Snap. |
Social Coordinator | 1 or 2 people | Organizes team social events throughout the season (i.e. team building, Christmas party, end of year party). |
Tournament Volunteers
The LMHA hosts tournaments annually. All families are expected to contribute to the successful running of these tournaments. Volunteers are required to run the game clocks and complete the game sheet as well as for administrative tasks, sales, and security. The LMHA tournaments all occur from mid-December through mid-January.
